Every ad campaign starts with a blank piece of paper and a sharpie. Even as a kid, I knew that. Every white or blank wall in my house was met with markers, crayons, and yes, even sharpies. If I could get my hands on color, no wall was safe. The older I got, it was still my goal to be as artsy as I could. Whatever I could learn to do in art classes, I was determined for.
Even in my college days that concept (although slightly altered) still rings true. I have always found creativity to be my calling. While drawing on the walls is less welcomed at my age, being able to meet drawing utensil with paper is just as thrilling. This passion has even helped me learn how to be a photographer in college. And it turns out I can even revolve my career around creativity!
Unlike my parents, there are people who do want me to fill blank walls with drawings. Even pay me for it! And now, I can use my graphic design skills to continue that notion I knew as kid. Everything starts with a blank canvas and a drawing.
